Community Building Weeks (CBW) creates breaks from the regular Academic schedule. These weeks generally follow each graduation. During CBW, students are not in the regular classroom but are involved in activities that include campus work projects, local trips of various sorts, theme classes, educational field trips, on-campus recreational activities, etc. This is an integral part of our character building program, as students develop work ethic and a sense of accomplishment.

Typical CBW activities may include:

  • local trail maintenance
  • campus landscaping projects
  • chopping wood for winter
  • educational trips
  • camping
  • team building activities

Some trips students have participated in the past include:

  • Grey Wolf - Native American experience week
  • Shakespeare Festival
  • Yellowstone National Park
  • River Rafting
  • Fly Fishing
  • Backpacking
