Life Challenge

The culmination of the student experience at Northwest Academy is the "Life Challenge" trip. Students have journeyed to the American Southwest for whitewater rafting, canyoneering, and volunteer work for the Navajo Nation; and to Florida for marine biology experiments, snorkeling through underwater eco-systems, and reforestation work with the Audubon Society. Here students exercise the new knowledge and skill they have gained. This experience is the true peak of the emotional growth journey for students. They return to campus feeling exuberant and triumphant. Graduation follows and celebrates their successes.
