If you would like assistance with choosing a school, college, or program that meets your child's individual needs, an educational consultant can help. These certified education professionals specialize in school, college, international or summer placements, as well as placements for students with learning, emotional or behavioral difficulties. Before, during, and after placement, the staff at Northwest Academy will collaborate with your educational consultant and/or referring professional.

Families who choose to work with an educational consultant can typically expect to:

• Receive objective, personalized guidance and expertise to determine what is best for the family and the child.
• Work closely with an individual skilled and experienced in matching a specific child's needs with the strengths of different schools and programs.
• Hear firsthand from an expert who has personally visited most of the schools or programs available and understands the meaning and relevance of the information inside each brochure.
• Avoid making common mistakes, which can end up resulting in a great deal of effort and wasted time and money.
